Need some inspiration to do the deed like scrapping the grass? Taking out the lawn is a very dramatic step in our land of personal paradise (Los Angeles), but the drought can be tolerated with beauty and vision. Before this great drought conversation, I always loved the spare and sublime desert like garden here and there. From Ojai, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles, South of France, I like my gardens on the rocks.
In France the rocks have always been trés jolie.
